Hi all,

Just fitted my new wheels and now have the Puncture warning system appear, I clearly do not have a puncture or a lack of tyre pressure I therefore assume that it is result of me fitting bigger after market wheels, simple question really,

How can I get the warning reset ?

Help help/advise would be greatly recieved.

Yes you need to reset the Run Flat indicator - I had this problem last week and the manual was no help

If you have no Idrive, with the engine running and stationary (without this it diesnt appear in the menu) Press the switch on the face of the left upper (indicator) stalk up until you get to the Run Flat section in the middle of the dash. Then press the switch at the end of the stalk (usually for the trip computer) to access the Run flat reset option, then hold the switch in for at least 3 seconds.

Job done - Shame it doesnt say this in the manual, take note BMW

Have you kept the same rolling radius with the bigger wheels? I thought the pressure monitor actually works on rotation speed?

Mine goes off every now and then. I just reset it as per the manual instructions (Z4)

Careful with that - I had a few spurious warnings and just reset it. It was a slow (very slow!) puncture.
