SWMBO and I just back from a wee Alpine camping-chill and pass-thrill jaunt. I'd excitedly anticipated the chance to drive up Stelvio at dawn (empty roads then, and surreal summit atmosphere sans-crowds). So set the alarm for 0530 and took a 'leisurely' drive up... with the camera obviously coolwink

Great shots, prefer the first over the second for me. The only spoiler is the GB sticker in the rear window.

Beautiful pics - what camera setup are you using?

Agreed... and I did seem to buy the BIGGEST sticker in the world too!

Thank you. Taken with newly acquired Nikon D700. The dynamic range of this camera (like the D3) still makes me dribble biggrin

True but we only seem to see these things after we've taken the picture, something I have done an awful lot smile

Stunners... Number 2 is great (clone out the barrier for even more impact?)

Hmmm... I may just try that. The barrier is the one thing that's been bugging me. Though looks a sizeable area for my cloning skills!

Many thanks for all the feedback smile
