Hi. I've seen two adverts for 355's at Verdi and Rardley - each advertised for circa £35k.

I've spoken to both Karl and Mike - has anyone got any good/bad experinces with them? And also, has anyone been to view either of the cars?

I'm sorely tempted by a 355 by it's right on the edge or just over my budget.

Do a search on here but be warned one of them can get verbal and threatening if things don't go there way

Have you ever been to Hayes

Nothing but praise for Mike Wheeler at Rardley. I have not used the workshop (another chappie in charge of that) but if you want a proper car, with no hidden stories, albeit for top money, Mike is one of the good guys. I have referred pals in the past in his direction and would do so again.

Verdi service wise are knowledgable and many forum members speak highly of them. Speak to Karl - pleasant enough to deal with. Most cars seem to be SOR, so bear that in mind.

I bought a car from Mikle a few years ago and have had dealings with him since. Found him to be very straight forward and honest and says what he wants, whether you want to hear it or not! Knows his stuff and I found him very good to deal with. I dont know anything about Verdi though. Have referred a lot of people to him and had no benifit from doing so! Sob! lol
Hope this helps
Happy to ampligfy if pvt me

Definatley a big thumbs up to Verdis,
top guys who know what they are talking about.
You get good after service and Karl will look after you no problem.

Dont worry about buying a SOR car, makes no difference to you, they will make sure the car is perfect regardless.

I have brought cars and have cars serviced by Verdi's - and can't recommend them highly enough. They actually know about how the cars should be set up - and will proactively advise you on what does - and what doesn't - need work/replacing.

It's quite a change to hear someone in the trade who will talk openly about known issues with the cars - this does not happen often enough IMHO.

They are almost a victim of their own success - it can take some time to get booked in - due to being too busy! That said - I have been able to ring Karl on Sunday morning when there has been a problem with my car (it was overheating) - and he asked me to do a couple of checks. 2 hours later - my car was taken to Verdi's (on Sunday) - and was ready for me collect next weekend!

Just my two penneth....
