Massa to win the F1 championship

I just twigged that the final F1 race is a home race for Massa in Brazil

Its probably total co-incidence that Raikonnen has gone off the boil and Hamilton cannot pass wind without a drive through penalty.

It does indeed look like it might go to the wire in Brazil

Bernie wants TV audiences - ipso facto, if the championship is wrapped up before Brazil, the viewers may well not tune in to the last races. The whole thing is rigged so it goes down to the wire.

The deal was done last year. Jean Todt set his son up by signing Massa on a 3 year deal before he was turfed out by Di Cockazemolo. Because Luca doesn't want to pay the Toad family any more than he has to, he's piled some of the money to Kimi to slow down for a year. If Massa gets his championship then he'll relinquish his Ferrari drive to Kubica or Vettel. You heard it here first

As I mentioned last week, the whole thing is like X factor, a totally manufactured show with the aim of getting lots of viewers in and making money. Bernie and Max have both mentioned many times that the days of a single racer winning everything in sight, year after year are over as it puts viewers off watching. I don't doubt the races are proper racing but the decisions made by FIA and stewards balance things out.

I would dearly, dearly love to see Massa and Hamilton out of the points in Singapore and Kubica to win it would set up one hell of a finish to the season. If it came down to that I'd be screaming for Kubica.

It is shameful on Raikkonen and Ferrari that Kubica is even close to them in what is clearly an inferior car.

It's also rather odd that they were keen to spice up 'the show' before the yawn years earlier this decade. Just as it is convenient that after all the accusations a 'surprise winner' crops up...and from a country that's no doubt suffering a drop in its F1 audience...

I'll explain.

He was saying that no one would be allowed to wrap the championship up before the last round, which is why Hamilton was penalised at Spa, so that he couldn't win it before Brazil.

I think he was implying that the FIA will interfere so that anyone can take the title at the last round.
