Thought I'd put the Cerb into a "normal" old fashioned garage to see how it got on. Three attempts, and much steam !!! passed the emission test , no fiddling required. S'pose it might have been easier with a few laptop tweaks, but , it can be done .

Dont do what I did last week! Driving up the A23, windows open and weeee, and a scrap piece of A4 that was obviously lying around in my car went flying out. Oh well.

Last night was getting all my documents together for the SpareRing trip in a couple of weeks and I cant find my MOT certificate scratchchin

Mine passed on Monday! It's always a tense time, but I took it to Just MOTs in Tonbridge and the chaps there were very enthusiastic about the Cerb. Said it was the first one he had done and was more than happy for me to wander round and watch.

Good job I was there to explain the controls; How do I get in? How do I start it? Where's the Hazard switch? Where are the number plate lights.

He wasn't sure about testing the brakes on the rolling road as he wasn't sure if it would be good the the diff as it does one side at a time. Instead we went out the front, I accelerated to about 30 and slammed on the brakes. He had some meter in the car that registered the effectiveness. Handbrake was only just on the scale!

All done for another year though! Phew.

No. Why?

Although it is in the garage waiting for some parts. New valves in the exhaust or something confused

I've booked mine in for the Irish equivalent ..... the NCT.

I do not expect to pass.

It's seriously strict, was more than the MOT.

I'll know within the month how it goes.
