a troublecauser imo, the industry like a lot of other things at the mo is having a tough time and to double book a weekend is just pure stupidity Although he does read this site, he is banned from posting, and therefore it would be unfair to have threads discussing him, when he would be unable to respond.

I am also well aware of others who are also not allowed to post for similar reasons.
Please do not attempt to stir up any trouble regarding historical arguments that have taken place on PH.
If people wish to know, then they are more than welcome to use the search function, and draw their own conclusions.
I do not want old arguments to be dragged up again.

Well said Meeja. I too have been here for a while and know the history and thats all I will say.
My understanding as to why Donington was cancelled was the fact they could only get 1 day and they couldnt get the track again which brought them to the conclusion it would be better to cancel and book for next year with the track.
Probably the fact that there was another show on the same weekend was also a contributory factor

Hmm, well I'll just have to wait until Stoneleigh then. Are there no other shows near the north this year?
Can someone please explain this Tanner chap. Why would Pistonheads stop someone from posting. And surely couldn't they just get a new ID and pretend to be someone else? Sounds a bit weird that PH would do something like that.
I dont want anyone to start a debate, just would like the basics explaining?

A potted history is that A couple of PH users carried on an argument/debate on this site. They were advised by the site owner (PetrolTed) to have their argument in private (or at least away from PH)Can someone please explain this Tanner chap. Despite agreeing to stop, the argument kept rearing it's head, and there were numerous public slanging matches.
They were given final warnings, which were ultimately not adhered to.
They were banned from PH as a result.
To the best of my knowledge (and he administration tools available) that they have accepted this situation, and not attempted to post since.
I'm going to close this thread now, as like I said earlier, I do not want the whole affair to be dragged up again. It is now history, and I would like to keep it that way.
