Sitting here at work, a Ferrari F50 has just gone past (Probably on the way to the Revival).

But it was a coupe.. The roof was like the MR2 ones where you take the whole top out. I didn't know they made them like this. Anyone have any information on it?

I thought the F50 had a removable hardtop?

the factory supplies a special flight case too, for when the hardtop is not in use

The hard top is a dealer workshop job - don't ask how much it cost to switch from a roadster to a coupe and back again!!

There is a fabric roof but equally useless at high speed.

yep - although ultimately it boils down to good decisions and strength of desire.

no it's not; you need 2 people to do it, but you don't have to go to a dealer to get it done

Yes it takes two people, a couple of hours, lots of swearing and jiggling, spacers are needed to ensure that all the pieces line up precisely otherwise you will scratch the rest of the bodywork.

I can see it's RHD; it is ex-Sultan of Brunei. £1.4m to convert to RHD according to a guy at Lamborghini Service Wycombe.

Electric windows? Charming!

LHD or RHD, it's great to see it being used rather than being stashed away to collect dust in an air conditioned garage.

Yellow really sets off the lines of the F50. I cant believe how fat and bloated the Murcielago looks in comparison. Truly a thouroughbread against a bull.

That car was a one off F50 built for the Sultan of Brunei in RHD. Recently it was for auction sale via Coys (I think) with a RHD F40 but then for sure ended up for sale with Talacrest.
