MR2 Turbo Vs Celica GT4 WRC ST205

i currently own a 200+bhpstarlet turbo and ive just had my 21st birthday time has come to upgrade. i was going for an Evo IV but insurance was £1800 what i am going for is either a MR2 Turbo Rev 3/4 or a Faff (Celica Gt4 WRC ST205) . have driven the celica as my older brother owned one. i have no exeriance in a MR2 Turbo and i would like to know what is the best car to drive. any help or advice please feal free to reply. thanks in advance.
Best car for what? A driver's car? MR2 Turbo (revision 3 onwards). Ignore the heavy footed halfwits who bang on about MR2s spitting you off the road backwards. That's how heavy footed halfwits drive.
That said, you will likely kill yourself in it as you're coming from a FWD car. Unless you imagine you are driving like you're on ice all the time...
I do know someone who got a 944 Turbo for his 21st about 15 years ago. He's now in a coffin. His grandfather bought it for him when he retired (pension lump sum) and is racked with guilt.

Ah.Simple choice really - do you prefer AWD traction and stability that will let you get away with almost anything (GT4) or more involving/responsive/playful handling that will bite you if you do something stupid (MR2T)
GT4 is more practical if that matters to you, has at elast some excuse for back seats.
