Looking for racers in Wild Bunch

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, so please forgive me if I break forum etiquette in any way.

I'm trying to get in touch with the person who used to race a dragster called 'Barking Mad' in Wild Bunch for the 'Dog Squad' team. I believe he was called Nick or Neil Connor and was from the Reading area.

If anyone knows him, or remembers any details about the car, please could they get in touch with me. I've recently bought it and would love to find out a bit more about the race history, what work has been done to the car etc.

Have you tried asking on the Wild bunch site. I would ask Scottie, i think he used to be part of the Barking Mad lot.

I've requested a password to the Wild Bunch forum, but haven't heard back from the admin person yet, and it's been a week or so, I imagine they're on hols so I might leave it another week then try to contact them again.

no problem with that... i thought it maybe something id done.

re the wild bunch website, when i tried to register on there it took me three attempts.... if anyone is having trouble get intouch with ed yates direct and he will sort it out.

Thanks to everyone who has replied / helped. I've got myself a passwrod to the Wild Bunch forum now so might make an appearance on there sometime soon.

Scottie - it's would be great if you could pass on Nick's details, or feel free to PM me and I'll give you my number / email to pass to him if you want.

We didn't buy the car from Nick, bought it from a guy up North who had only used it once in the year he owned it, he didn't really seem all that interested in drag racing, and I got the impression he didn't know a huge amount about the car either!

The car came with some history, but I'm nosey and like to ask loads of questions so it would be good to speak to someone who knows the car well.

Glad to hear you think it's a good one, we're certainly pleased with it so far, although haven't managed to get out with it yet as we've only had it for a few weeks!

cool , lots of pictures on the wild bunch site on galley page , and if we can help you with anything no probs " join wild bunch it's great club and i love it , nicks in to bikes now still got his 105e and zodiac , but spoke to him yesterday and would be happy to guide you !!!!
