Quarterlight adjustment
Discussion
Has anyone adjusted their quarterlights? One the drivers side mine hug the windscreen nicely, but on the passenger side there is a gap all the way down.I thought it might be the door being further back on the passenger side, but both door gaps appear pretty equal,so i'm suspecting the passenger quarterlight aught to be moved forward a little. Is this possible?I assume they will adjust upwards quite easily,as i also want to tweak them a bit in that direction, too?
I think it possible is as there is a bolt right at the bottom of the main window pilar( groved bit whatever you call it) quaterlight section...
The bolt is attached to a metal L shapped piece that is then bolted to a nut fibreglassed in. The L piece has slotted holes so i think you should be able to adjusted. Its just getting to them.
Will get some piccies for you...hang on

Yes, I've adjusted mine. It would best be described as "Blackpool fibreglass torture".
There are 2 bolts that can be slackened inside the door, and the quarterlight piece has slots in it, so there's room for adjustment most ways. If you want to move it forwards, remove washers from the upper bolt, and add washers for backwards.
You'll have to adjust the rear window runner to compensate, and possibly the window mechanism in case it all gets so tight the window jams.
