Has Ribena changed colour??

Just poured myself a cool refreshing ribena and have noticed that its not quite as dark purple as it used to be... its got a definate reddish tinge about it.

Has anyone else noticed this or has the mrs just swapped it with the 2 stroke oil?

Self diluting.. using the same glass as i always do using the same measures I always do... I'll try and get picture...

unless the stuff you had before had gone off as Ribena goes a brown colour when it is off!

Modern ribena is st. They changed the recipe a few years back. It used to be thick with a strong taste now its runny and watery. Tesco do an own brand blackcurrant drink that tastes like ribena used to.

No doubt the new stuff is better for us, has less sugar or something. I dont car. Its st I wont be buying it.

I noticed this too, but I thought it had gone off and poured half the bottle down the sink

I think ribena has went all natural, check the ingredients and it might not have any added colouring

BUT the mystery has been solved... and the divorce papers have been drawn up...

Her indoors has been buying 1ltr bottles of.... ULTRA LIGHT (WTF???) Ribena because its been on a BOGOF offer and filling the plastic 2Ltr bottle!!!!
