Ok, this may be a rookie question, but with the introduction of listening to your 'own' music while playing certain games a couple of PS3 Firmware updates ago does anyone know if you can also play music that you have on Media Server using the same function?

I use Tversity through the PS3 and don't particular want to load my own tracks onto the machine if I can avoid it. Will the PS3 let music play from Tversity while playing games that have the functionality of custom playlists?

Wipeout is released next week and it is supposed to support it. Other than that I have heard of one other game, but it's name escapes me right now.

I suspect that more and more new releases will support it going forward

I thought more games would be updated to support it, like GT5 etc.

Sorry, I'm being no help here.

Pain, Super stardust and Burnout paradise (which had a cracking update yesterday including motorbikes.) are the games that support it that I own, don't know of any others.

You do have to save the mp3's to the ps3 to play them though, which is a shame.

Thanks, I didn't even realise that Burnout had a big update available. Installed it, copied across some MP3 and played through the bike races with a big stupid grin on my face
