3 day blat...but where to go?
Discussion
Evening all,
I was after some opinions and suggestions on the following. For my birthday in December I have booked a week off work and I have the company of a Lamborghini Gallardo for 3 of the days. I was planning on heading over to Wales and staying there to enjoy the 'triangle' and the surrounding areas.
Are there any other area's that you'd recommend going instead of Wales, or heading too for one of the days? I'm based in Surrey and I'm not sure the wallet will cope with mass mileage, otherwise I think I'd head to West Scotland.

The three 'must haves' are:
- Great roads, suitable for a Gallardo
- Superb scenery for the camera
- Good B&B with proper parking
I'd personally opt for Wales. Myself and a few others from PH had a brilliant 3 days there back in June.
Wales is a reasonable distance to travel to. Surrey to Scotland on the other hand is the best part of a days drive one way.
The Evo Triangle in Wales is good, but other roads round there are even better. There's also a great selection of roads further south from the triangle heading down into mid-Wales.
The only thing to consider is the road surfaces may well be damp during December. Accommodation should be pretty east to come by that time of year though, and is good value compared to SE England.

Yep! (Hi Justin ) I'm getting the urge to go back We stayed in Betws-y-Coed (might have cocked up the spelling!) which is close the EVO triangle. Loads of B&Bs' there. Other roads in the area are better than the Triangle, which is not very long and does'nt take long to cover at pace.

Quyen and I were discussing the very same during last Sunday's Kent hoon. Next spring is an absolute must, but I keep wondering what the possibilities are for a trip later this year?
Gonna have to come along on a Thames Valley hoon soon anyhow. Sadly i'm working during the 5th October one however.
Oh, and the Elise now has ITG's finest installed. Sounds even more angry north of 5,000rpm.

Yes definately. I'll be itching to get back there by spring! Weather will be a bit hit and miss later this year.Saied said:

Looks like I'm working on the 5th too Was going to invite you along as if they run the Dash to Coast route it starts not too far from you. Saied said:
