A little challenge for you guys
Discussion
Now please don't get me wrong this all meant in good humour and fun. As a TVR owner of nearly 6 years a while back I love the marque so no offensive meant with this post.
We are often having a giggle over on Northloop about what we call the TVR Tunnel. This relates to the Nurburgring and comes from a while back when (i forget the exact details) a chap was discussing how his TVR was lapping the Nurburgring in close to 8 minutes after just a few laps. It was decided that the guy must have found a tunnel to cut out some of the track. This has carried on for some time and is now the brunt of our jokes when someone claims something silly.
Now to the challenge.
Yes I know timing is not allowed, yes I know videos are not allowed but hey some of you must have made some nice ones before the ban if nothing else. Anyone got one close to or under 8 mins featuring your TVR? I dont care what the BHP is, I would just like to see a great and quick TVR lap of the ring. I have been fortunate to lap in a T350 and a Tuscan S but the drivers were a little inexperienced so not the quickest laps. However I really enjoyed the experience.
So come on guys and gals. I will start a light hearted thread in the video and picture section on Northloop and look forward to you guys showing us your stuff.

Excellent! I'm looking to buy a Pug as a bit of every day nostalgia. Last one I had went as part of my divorce settlement early 90's. I'd had the suspension lowered and beefed up, new exhuast and lovely wheels.
Next stop was the Turbo - Guttman I believe - but the car went.....
Is your Pug track or road use?

If you mean do I have a Gutmann 205 then yes, I have one of the small number Mike Ranger sold in the UK many years ago. It didn't come with the 16v engine but it came with loads of Gutmann parts and a high price.
Very nice; great pics.I really do have to get one again, although not as hard core as yours as I will use it on the road. But still....the wife and I really want one.

We'll probably need Boss Cerbera to share his times with us. I'm not sure how close he got to 8 minutes, and he's had a bit more practice recently...
Heres the Boss( Phil) doing The ring but not sure who long it took as video only 5mins 30 long! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovgnjUobBxk&fea...maybe some of his other videos have it timed?

Can't tell anything from that one or from his other one on there. I assume this is a very early lap of his?

t hot driver by all accounts and the car was extremely well sorted. From what I understand the amateur record on the ring is 7 mins something and held by an M3 CSL.
