Just found a leak on the rubber gaiter, does this mean a full rack refurb?

Only gets worse

Keep emptying out the gaiter utill it gets too bad!

Pig to get out though

TVR Power and others overhaul to better standard than original, £250-350

but can be £££ if theads pick up (aluminium on aluminium)

Yep I'm afraid so, because it will fail the MOT if you don't get it sorted. Had my steering rack reconditioned twice now.

It might well be covered on a decent warranty, if you have one.
