I'm thinking of buying an EVO 6 upwards, who would be the best for insurance on limited use, approx 2,000 miles a year. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

It's worth getting quotes from the following ...

  • Pace Ward (give extra discounts for members of the Mitsubishi Lancer Register)
  • Keith Michaels
  • Admiral
  • Elephant
I have seen good quotes on Evos from all of them over the past few years smile

They are all pretty easy to find using Google.

Admiral are decent for me, so another vote. I'm 24, 2yr NCD, driving 6 years and costs 1k exactly on a 7 GSR.

I've just got a quote from A Plan Insurance for my Evo 6 and I would highly recommend them.

I'm with Admiral - £1500 ish for 23 with 2 years NCD and one fault accident. Not bad really. Give them a try.

On a related note is there anywhere in the entire country that will offer insurance on an Evo 5 to an under 21 year old?

Anywhere?

Bell Direct is coming up with some good prices on my VIII MR FQ300, full protected NCD but with an at fault write off 4 years ago.

This is via the comparison web sites - will follow up with calls this week.
