Bridgestone Replacements
Discussion
Aagain can't say exactly, but I drive Pirelli P7000s on my Celica. I'd say they are well-around in all weather, but exceptional in none.
Compared to the S02s I had previously the Pirellis pale in comparison, so I'll be switching to SO3s.
I'm very impressed with the Bridgestone RE720s I have on my S, on track, road and wet, so will be keeping to those (and the speed-hump avoiding 60 profile) for now.
What are your reasons for moving away from Bridgestone?

Just wondering about the Toyos...
A lot of people are fitting Proxies on the newer cars (Chimaera and beyodn), especially as SO2s are as scarce as hen's teeth, but would these suit the S?
The way I see it on the S the tyres are a big part of the ride and handling due to the high profile, and perhaps changing manufacturer would create quite a change in handling..
I could of cause be musing in an insane manner though.

I ran SO2s and switched to RE720's as I wanted to revert to the original 60 profile. IMHO they were a superior tyre to the SO2 in both the wet and the dry. Only problem with them is that you cant put them on the V8S as they are only V rated. Apparently you can still find RE71s on a Z rating if you look hard enough.
