2 pot rear calipers and handbrakes????

I have fitted some AP 4 pots to my Focus ST, but now fancy a project of fitting some 2 pot rears, but ive been told this is not possible unless i use a spot brake for the handbrake. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

There are 2 pot brakes with integral hand brake mechanisms. See HiSpec for an example.

I'd have to ask why on earth you think you need 4 pot calipers on the back of a front engined, FWD car?

The 4 pots are on the front, lol, the 2 pots will be going on the rear. But am now looking at runnning a cossie 4x4 rear caliper with a 300mm discs just got to find some lug measurements.
