...not the huge spiders that seem to be moving in for the winter, but the man-flu kind of bug?

Had a few beers last night but not enough to induce an all-day-hangover. Washed the car today and now feel like st

Not usually prone to bugs / colds as I work on my own mostly - anything going round?

Yep, definitely something going around as half of the family & several friends have had it (general heavy cold / flu-like symptoms)

I thought i'd escaped until i got back from Silverstone tonight. I feel somewhat rough.

Always bad at this time of year - kids back at school / people back at work after summer break, so coughs and sneezes spread...

I'm feeling crap too. Sore throat, runny nose, bit of a cough etc.

My job is the kind where I really should stay at home when like this (work mainly with the elderly and some very poorly people, also need to be fully concentrated) but you feel like a fraud ringing in to tell em.

Hopefully feel a bit better in the morning.

aircon at work passed it onto me. felt like ste for much of the weekend.

i know the bottle says otherwise, but after gargling with tcp i would highly recommend having a small swig of it neat.

guy at work swears by it so i gave it a go. have had stuffy nose etc. but the sore throat went in a matter of hours and made mealtimes far more bearable!

just need to work on the spiders now, seen 4 huge fkers already tonight.

I've just started work again after two weeks off with something called gastroventitis (sp?)

Suffered from all the normal severe manflu symptoms, as well as tiredness, sweating, shaking and muscle cramps, loss of all strength, vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pains, severe headaches and an aversion to bright lights.

Spent 72 hours in bed at one point. Not good. I'll pray that you haven't got what I had biggrin

Pestered by flies here this weekend. Maybe someone has done a poo behind the radiators or something.

im suffering with manflu, feel like the world is giong to end, eating beachams like they are going out of fashion. "only take 2 every 4 hours, no more than 8 within 24 hours" i read take whole packs untill you feel better. they are not working.
the cold i can deal with
the bunged up feeling i can deal with
the sore throat i can deal with
but what i cant deal with, is the inability to fecking sneeze, every half hour i need to sneeze, got to sneeze, nose tingles and my left eye starts watering, thats it. all i have had all day is "are you arlight, are you upset have you been crying" "NO IVE BEEN TRYING TO SNEEZE FOR THE PAST 4 HOURS AND CANT, I NEED TO SNEEZE DAMMIT!"
more soothers, more beachams is needed
