Hello People

I have a list of e-mail address in an Excel spread sheet, there are approx 2000 of them, along with other infomation as well. What i would like to do is to transfer all those e-mail addresses to outlook express so that i can start to do some mail shots. Is it possible to do? i don't have the time to enter each one, so looking for the quickest possible solution

Any Ideas?

Cheers

I don't have Outlook Express, but Outlook seems to have a facility (see File/Import and Export/Import from another program or file) that might do this.

You need to save the spreadsheet out as CSV format (Comma Separated Values) - it's in the list of save as options in Excel. This creates a CSV Text File.

Then, go into Outlook Express, click File, Import and then Other Address Book. Choose "Text File (Comma Separated Values)".

Browse to the file, then select the fields you want to import then "map" them to the correct Address Book field - i.e. tell it which column is the name, which is the address etc...
