Hi everybody
Please help as some numpty(me) who is doing a body off and thought he
took photos of everything he took off has found out he did not.
On my pre-cat griff i need help on the fuel line conections at the tank.
1 Big pipe odvious-feed to pump
2 Small pipe by the side of big pipe i assume goes to return from engine
3 Small pipe from filler goes to a valve? behind tank then out through body---TO WHERE is this just a vent

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

I have seen some slighhtly different routings of the return pipe on the precats.
On mine the return pipe (copper) comes down the O/S side of the main chassis and then into the GRP to the return side of the tank on the O/S.
The vent pipe from the filler comes through the same hole in the GRP as the main outlet, and goes up to the upper level of the main chassis ,where it is just cable tied on and left open to vent.

Do you remember how much of each of the different pipes you used SMEATHOME ?

If I'm correct, you use 8mm Internal Diameter copper down the chassis and flexible hose at each end. So I'd guess at say 8metres of copper for replacing supply and return and a couple or 3 metres of rubber fuel line ?
What is the internal diameter of the rubber stuff? Is it still 8mm so it gets a good seal on the copper or slightly larger - 10mm Internal ?

Is there a type of rubber fuel line which is better than others, like there are braided brake lines?
