Actually identical time as my smaller motor, but 3.5mph up on terminal. REALLY struggled off the line, only managed one 60ft in less than 2 seconds.
I must try some drag slicks one day just so i can get my ultimate time, or snap a drive shaft!

Brummie,
Good to see you and the car again yesterday, it quite clearly can do a much quicker time than 11.7 but you need to work on getting the power to the tarmac which I know is what you are also thinking. In first and second you have too much power and it is slipping away, it's only when you get into third that you are fully hooked up and rapidly accelerating, I dug out my old 11.9 slip from a few years ago when my Cerb was running 410bhp and this proves what I am saying:

60ft 1.835
330ft 5.061
1/8 ET 7.732
1/8 MPH 92.4
1000 ET 9.96
1/4 ET 11.96
1/4 MPH 115.9

Jules.

Tell you what, these Jap cars just don't have the renowned TVR reliability! biggrin

Sounds like good times, but having looked at your profile I would have expected at least low 11s? Sounds like the traction is hurting your times a bit.

How about putting 250kgs concrete in the boot. Should improve traction no end as it hangs out behind rear wheels.

If you pour it in wet it will form around the wells in the bottom and still leave space for a suitcase biggrin
