I'm looking for one of the Darwin evolution versions, anybody know where I can get one from? I'm an atheist, but have been three line whipped into attending a renewal of vows at the local church during the Sunday service. I've been banned from commenting or moaning about it, so I would like to make a subtle protest by parking in the church with one of these badges attached to it.

Cheers E/T - I came up with US listings for some reason.

I think the no-God might be a bit OTT - as it's my MIL and FILs ceremony. I think the one with nice little legs and the Darwin name will just do the trick nicely

How will a badge that most people won't understand cure your combination of pussy-whipping and religious hypocrisy? tongue out

I was behind a tosspot on the M56 today on the way into Manc, in an X-type Jag (says enough about him right there...) but he had one of these fish with SATAN written in the middle of it.

Now, I'm not religious but I just found it offensive. Completely uncalled for abuse towards someone who is...

Our office transsexual had one of those evolution badges, so i'd steer clear unless you want to risk giving the wrong impression.

ie that you're on the surgical turn.

You're an atheist and going to church to attend a renewal of vows? Can I suggest that whoever has given you this 'three line whip' has absolutely zero respect for you whatsoever?!

Do the MIL and FIL actually want an atheist at the event - do they even know you are an atheist?!

Are you confusing 'atheist' with 'agnostic'? I'm agnostic, but I do respect that some people need religion hence I can attend a friends wedding or a childs christening. However if I was an atheist then it would be a little hypocritical to say the least!

How about no badge, then there's no confusion, plus you wont look like a gayer who puts badges all over his car?

It won't, but it'll make me feel better in my silent protest. Besides if it's a case of stand by your morals and don't get any, then I'll be - to paraphrase deliverance - "praying for you real good". hehe

Can you give me one rational reason why that should be offensive?
