How much oil will monaro gearbox take? and where is the fuel filter located?
Is it correct to say spark plugs last for 20,000 miles and the diff holds 2ltrs of oil?
thanks again...in a bit of a hurry.................

standard sparks are, if I recall, platinum tipped and supposed to go on until 50k. Saying that I'm going copper and sticking to 20k life spans.

Anyone got the copper number available as search is down at present

going by what I got back from the garage that did my gearbox and diff with the Royal Purple stuff I bought in the US the gearbox uses between 4-5 quarts and the diff around 2 quarts. Thing with the gearbox is to fill from the sensor hole at the top and not the oil fill hole apparently to make sure you really do fill it.

btw Royal Purple Synchromax Manual Trans Fluid was $8 a quart and their Max-Gear Synthetic Gear Oil 75w140 was $9.99 a quart, actually cost me more in air freight and tax than the oil cost!!!

I have ordered diff oil and gearbox oil from monkfish, standard oil is a bit poor so i'm told. Hope to have done the job myself by the weekend.....
