Got the chance to buy a refreshed 930 Turbo 4 speed and was thinking about adding a Quaife ATB.

Seems to me for trackdays a really tough 4 speed would be ideal match for a torquey V8. Tall first and 180 max.

Any thoughts?

How do you get 180 max?? 10 inch go cart wheels wink or 6000 revlimit??

Here, use this calculator. It's the stock 4.22 gearing.

I'll change to a 5.125 final and 2.00 first.

Sorry, didn't explain myself properly as usual!!!sillylaugh What I was hoping to get was a big first gear with a maximum of 180. Final to suit. Just don't see the need for a five speed gearbox.

Many thanks for the calculator - very useful.
