My AMG SL55 has had a water leak in the boot since I bought it new. The Dealer has tried to fix the leak about 10 times, without success, and during those times, I have been without the car for about 3 months in total.
Has any one else with an SL experienced similar problems?
Any suggestions about how I should approach Mercedes about this and who should I speak to ?

This is a common problem, the water goes in around the c pillar seals and or the lower window seal, eventually causing the PSE pump to fill with water and stops the central locking from working, and then if the key lock next to the boot handle is siezed ( and lets face it, it probably is as they are never used ) the only way in is to smash a rear light and release it from inside the boot.

You need a pair of pillar seals, the one that goes around the bottom of each pillar and up either side, and the rear window lower seal. Re sealing the old seals will not work, the amount of seals i have had to change due to leaks after they have been resealed!

Is that the Mercedes Dealership in Drayton? If so, my car has been for repair about 12 times and the boot still leaks!

It is MBenz Stoke, Cobridge road, Hanley, Stoke on Trent. Tel 01782 202112.
Have your current boys replaced the seals as described by Ben in the above post?

As with all Mercedes repairs, most main dealers are useless!!

That fault on the SL in commonplace and they should know how to fix as stated by Ben earlier.
