Until sometime next year when it restarts and all the air will be sucked into a black hole.

Can't finish the fix until December, then they all go home to smoke pot, or something. March 09 or thereabouts before the thing fires up again.

Apparantly it will be fixed soon but that runs it into its closedown for maintenance.

Closed for maintenance after aonth? Reminds me of servicing my old Lancia Delta HF, that ran for about a month before needing a service which took days.

I think the fix is relatively easy, just replacing a fried power coupling between magnets. It's going to take two months because they have to bring that whole section back to room temp, then cool it right back down to near 0K.

Didn't expect it to shoot up to 100c ?

Was it caused by the beam or what ?
