eh....erm....could you define what "village people" are?

1. Pseudo camp pop band types?
2. People who live in a village?
3. Some hitherto unknown type?

I live in a village on the banks of a river in Scotland. It's deathly quiet to the point where staying at the in-laws in rural Buckinghamshire is unbearably noisy by comparison!

If you can forgive the indigenous popluation their lack of evolution and blinkered perceptions, it's great! Very obliging and friendly neighbours. The community spirit is fairly healthy and I'm a member of one of the primary school commitees and other local organisations.

A fair bit of history surrounds the place too.

Edited due to bad choice of verbiage.
