Consistent URLs
Discussion
OK this is a **really** esoteric one, but bear with me
The URL in the link to many pages (i.e. the href target) differs subtly. e.g.
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
and
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
both go to the same page. And, the link on the "next page" link on each thread page is different to the direct link on the forum index page.
Why do I care? Because I often look at the page numbers against multi-thread pages and recall where I got up to reading by looking at which page numbers are set to "visited" - but if I click page 3, then next> next>, it doesn't know that I've read up to page 5.
