2.5 weeks

Is this not the finest looking sports car since the Lambo Miura or Rarri Daytona????????

This car is beautiful! When will the press test it? How will they fit a super charger in there for the 550? How about those fart pipes?

I love this car. Well done TVR.

Lots of nice details. The carbon looks nicely done. Looks like TVR have raised their game!

Looks like a Tuscan, covered with brown paper.

Maybe they were wrapping it, so Parcel Force could deliver it to a customer.

Stunning, love the interior.
I take it the wheels that are on it are just for in factory mobility!!!!

Oh buggger another car for the list for 'when I win the lottery' . The misses aint going to be pleased, looks like even with a win it'll have to be 2 weeks on the Isle of Wight and not the Turks and Cacos Islands as expected, hey ho

Its so they dont scratch the paintwork when working on the interior/engine bay.

I saw the R when I was home a few weeks ago...nearly finshed but no wheels. It looked ok.

its hard to describe but it didn't look that imposing...suppose it was the colour. where as the press r looks more "mean" if you understand.

I would have prefered it to be black - at least thats the colour I would pick.

Seen the 'brown' press car a few times and to be honest that colour didn't do it any favours IMHO. This one is silver which is normally the safest colour for a car, I'll reserve judgement until the nose cone is on.
Have to agree though the car was born to be black .

Obviously getting too old, don't like it at all. Sports cars should have sweeping front bonnets that stretch way out in front and nice lines. Just like peter perfect in the wacky races. This one has neither. The Cerb was the pinnacle of TVR design, this just looks like a snub nosed tuscan. IMHO griffith incredible, cerb and chimera storming, tuscan looka like tarted up hatchback, tamora cheap looking, and this is getting worse.

And whats with the rear exhaust back box on show!
Still I'm in the minority but I can't help thinking TVR have it to prove with their next model.

Absolutely love the car, no question about that. Presumably it's the street version of the t400 they raced at Le Mans this year, which looked and sounded great and went like stink in the GT class. My only concern is that considering the pictures show TVRs new flagship they could have swept the floor of all the old bog paper, should be showing it off in a clean room environment with men in white lab coats in view.

ah, julian, this is PARTIALLY BUILT. the back box will be covered, you know the elaborate fittings on the back end of the tamora? this'll be a similar case. And as for a sweeping front bonnet, this car was known within TVR as "Captain Swoopy" mostly for its long, sweeping continuous lines that start on the hood and run the length of the car. The entire hood is one piece so as to minimize weight, but I'm sure having fewer shutlines was a huge plus for TVR's primo product. But you're right in that this isn't quite as pretty as the Cebera, which is a more classic shape.
