Advice on ordering a 135i Coupe? Discount available?

Now that space grey is available I am thinking of taking the plunge on a new 135i, never had a new car before and I am really fussy with my spec. My spec comes to around £32900k.... a lot of money for a 1 series I agree. Therefore I may wait 6-8months a get an ex-demo etc.

Are 10% discounts available from BMW? I will not be using BMW finance, prefer personal loans. What about going through one of those car supermarkets?

Oh, can you order a new car with the BMW performance exhaust? Same with the seats, or do you pay the full price still?

I can't see the option online for ordering the bumper which is prepared to take the BMW bike rack. A very nice solution.

I agree with what you're saying, although the lemon\cream interior and wood dash is a big no no Plus I have to have the uprated hi-fi like I have in my Z4.

There is actaully a really nice one around £28,800. If I cold get that for £27k inc the performance exhaust I'd take it. Of course depending on how much I get for my Z4 against that.

Doesn't matter who the dealer is. showroom traffic is light, kick them to bits.

I bought a fully loaded 335D M Sport Touring 15 months ago. I've covered 35000 miles but the latest bid from a BMW dealer is £21000 ( list was £46000 )!

You must be bloody crazy to buy a new BMW at the moment when there are so many good used deals about, especially a big engined petrol motor!

Sit back and wait for the right car to turn up on the used section.

I am worried BMW are gonna offer something silly like £7K for my Z4... I was offered £11700 last week against a £20K car. I'd be very happy with £12.5 on a £25K car. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Seriously scz4 , if your car is only worth £10000 ish, why start the ball rolling again with depreciation on a new BMW ?
Dont do anything till at least Christmas.Watch the market and i'm sure you will find the car you want for the right money.

I know, I am in two minds to be honest. It's just I've had a offer from a mate on my other car and it would be good opertunity to sell it without hassle. I can't shift the Z4 so I was thinking of trading it in against something else.

I have a M3 Evo and a Z4. Thinking of combining both cars though into a 135i. Maybe I should look at changing the Z4 for a £12-£16k diesel estate and keep the M3 purely for track days and Nurburgring trips

waitin till xmas for a 135i is a waste of time as its a big engined bm with small engined road tax...the cars effected will be the ones with big engined road tax probably....people will soon realise this and flock to them from eg. rx8 350z s2000 lookin for same performance but cheaper costs..

if only bm could put that 3.5 litre in something that looks nice though...based on classic bm looks like the e30..

I managed to get an offer of about 8% off list without pushing too hard..

But what put me off was that the professional sat nav is being upgraded and apparently thats not happening until November production.

While the dealer was saying that it wouldn't affect the used values if I was buying a 135i in 3 years time and offered one with and one without the new HDD based sat nav I know which one i'd go for.

Also the dealer finance at 9.9%apr (down from 11.9%) is still rubbish..
