Coming back to sunny Nottingham on Saturday for a reunion with some old mates, but the bedroom/floor/garden shed sharing situation for the night after several sherberts seems a little problematic. None of our mates still living there can accomodate us when we roll in at 5/6am and crash on the floor so we are going to book a hotel!
We are looking for somewhere central so Jurys Inn, Days Inn, Holiday Inn etc seem like the favourites, but what experiences do people have of any of these beautiful establishments and can anyone suggest anywhere that is easy enough in a taxi in the wee small hours, but won't cost a Kings Ransom?

Stayed in the Jurys Inn a month ago. Good location. Paid £59 for a Saturday night.

Avoid a tai cost and spend the cost of the taxi staying somewhere nice.

The Park Plaza has just had a refurb, its the only place in nottingham that worth staying.

Holiday Inn Express in city centre is central for nightlife. Jury's well located too. I'd go laterooms.com and get a good deal.Park Plaza nice and central but no doubt pricey. Lace Market hotel central and really nice but pricey too.

Thanks for the responses folks. Jurys Inn is looking favourite, though pulling a random girl and crashing on her floor at 5am may be a cheaper option (though probably not wink)

Funnily enough, my visit to Jury's Inn included a knock at the door at 2am with a girl inviting me to a party down the hallway.whistle

ben have a look at the George hotel or even the Gresham if you not bothered about anything other than a bed, the Gresham is next to the train Station and the George is at the top of hockley at the back entrance to Lloyds bar. if i could get away with it i would have given you the keys to one of the spare appartments we have in town, but its a bit too risky if u know what i mean, as said before as such, just geet 1 room and let everyone pile in esp if your mainly going out with girls, or if ur gay (as we all know you are) lots of boys from NG1, actually saying that why dont you goto NG1 you know you will end up pulling there!! hehe

Not the city centre but there are a lot of hotels and B&B`s on Radcliffe Road. Walkable when drunk or a cheap taxi ride.

There's a Premier Inn close to the BBC (London RD?) easy to walk back to and save the taxi ride. Either the Crown or Park Plaza are OK too.

Thankfully we had a free bed in the end. My mate discovered an old airbed in his loft and we slept in his living room!
