we have a H&S visit tomorrow so need to lay my hands on 6 hi-vis jackets by 9.30am.

I tried my local ASDA but no joy ... any thoughts (without spending a fortune at Halfords!)

ikea is too far ... I don't fancy driving into Croydon ...

I have a Howdens up from the office, so perhaps that is the best bet.

If it take an H&S visit to prompt you to get some why are you not using them anyway?

Try Pound Stretcher or similar.

B&Q are cheap enough.

The question is without trying to be a smart arse, but if you need them because of H&S visit why are they not there all the time to comply with the regs? You could be leaving yourself wide open to litigation and with the growth in no win no fee that is not a good thing IMO.

Like i say not trying to be a smart arse just a bit of food for thought.

We have plenty of hi-vis jackets, just that the GM asked to get some more.

I supplied enough for everyone in the first place but some have gone missing.

Sometimes best to not ask questions eh?

B&Q will be the first port of call ... need to find opening hours.

They'll be open at 8am. Likewise Hire shops, Builder's Merchants, Plumber's Merchants and Electrical Wholesalers.

All of those will have hi-vis gear in stock smile

B&Q open at 7 near me yes

jackets are under a £5, which isn't too bad. Though the original ones I had printed for less than that.

Oh well, c'est la vie.

You don't have to drive into Croydon. They sell them in loads of shops where I live.
