Two things;

1.) where would all the breastmilk come from?
2.) what do they imagine would happen to the 'redundant' cows?

Flat earthers!

And, errm, PETA want women to sell their breast milk? So how do they feed their kids? Formula milk? Cows milk?

Du'uh.

Don't these muppets realise that if we didn't drink cows milk or for that matter eat nice juicy steaks and burgers then there wouldn't be any bloody cows.

They're only good for milking and eating. End of.

yuck

Never eat your own species. Easy way to pass on diseases. Even cooked.

yes Eating rose veal (humane, outdoor) ensures that young male milk-breed cows get some life instead of absolutely none.

I remember reading somewhere that Magnus Pike was an advisor to the Government on food around the time of WWII/just after and proposed exactly that.

I think they DO know - I get the feeling that all PETA members are plastic sandal wearing freaks who would happily see all animal rearing outlawed and then wonder why the countryside collapses.

I was in Florida recently and I was told that PETA want to buy SeaWorld (and presumably release all of the whales, dolphins etc into the wild?).

I thought it was funny that the Japanese whalers would find it very helpful that Shamu could leap out of the water and do a somersault to make aiming their harpoon guns easier smile

i used to do voluntary work for the RSPCA, and unofficially they had no time for PETA who regularly wrote to them and nigh on demanded they do things the PETA way.

Flat earthers!
Not at all. It would provide useful employment for all those unemployed single teenage mums. Then the taxpayer wouldnt have to support them.

They are a bit crazy, but this statement from Ben & Jerry's is a bit of a contradiction:

Ben and Jerry's said:
"We applaud Peta's novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother's milk is best used for her child."
So in essence they are saying a cow's milk is best used for its calf.

No. They just didn't think their statement through terribly well.

Still. Nice to know Ben and Jerry's will be sticking to cows milk. Always nice to have a little dessert after a mahoosive steak. biggrin
