External Wastegate size

I have been given an external wastegate and want to know what size it is, What do you measure on the wastegate to get this?? common ones I have seen talked about are 38mm, 44mm, 50mm and 60mm..

measure the internal valve size. if you remove the EWG you should be able to measure the valve size easy enough (looks like a cyl head valve)

Also it has a large yellow spring in does that mean a particular psi rate ??
