..nothing kinky or owt like that...we are having a works party, and the theme of the night is 1970s.

Me and the other half want to go in fancy dress, and I throw myself on the good advice of the PH gang to advise what might really win the day.

Current thoughts are:-
1) Huggy Bear type pimp outfit
2) Disco gear with afro and all that
3) Saturday night fever type white suit etc
4) Star trek shatner type gear
5) Garry Glitter might be a shade distasteful....

Any ideas on a real blinder?

Cheers

option 2 is a bad idear (for me). i did this for a friends 21 in chelmsford town. nothing worse than people taking you "giant" afo and trying it on with out asking. needless to say the night didnt go well and i spent 6 weeks with my leg in plaster

It has to be Gary Glitter. I hear all the kids are into him these days or should that be the other way round?

Orange suit, green frilly long collar shirt, gold platform boots, and a medallion.

My cousin had a 70's party in Hove, and I seriously got the most attention at the party, and out on the street when having a crafty fag.

So many women came up to me to have a photo taken "with" me.

My wife was at said party too, so I had to stay grounded redface

You can hire this clobber from anywhere.

Don't go for a white suit a la John Travolta though - orange is the colour biggrin
