Having just been reading posts by Paul Stoddart on Pitpass, in particular this one - http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_feature_ite... - and then thinking of the McLaren appeal this week with regard to the claims made about the conversation between Scott-Andrews and Whiting I wonder how often MM thinks he can get away with this. It is one thing perverting the course of justice in his own little world of the FIA, where the usual rules for justice do not exist, but I had forgotten Stoddart's allegation (which has never been challenged to my knowledge) which relates to a real court.

When the witness (woman 5) failed to turn up at the News of the World trial relating to MM being a Nazi my thought was that she had been pressured into not turning up as her truthful statement would not be in MM's interest. Of course, that is only my opinion and conjecture. However, if you add in the Australian perversion of the course of justice, and this weeks obvious case of it there does seem to be a body of evidence against MM - are there any other incidences that we either know, or don't know of?

And if any of these were proven, would it actually make any difference?

PS. There was no pun intended in the title, but as I wrote it I couldn't help thinking at the link between Max Mosley and the word pervert.

We knew there was no link between Max Mosley and the word "justice"!

Whilst we're on the subject of Mosley's relationship to lawful or unlawful activities, how about an enquiry into the Euston 40?

I knew there was more that I had forgotten. Would a word with Scotland Yard provoke any interest? Not that I have any links, just don't know how to get those who could investigate to start doing so.

If there is any doubt about whether his heart is in it, its worth pointing out that mosely has said (paraphrased) that he gets pleasure from reading peoples protests and witnessing their fury over the decisions he makes.

If a citizen goes to the CPS with a reasonable suspicion (based, for example, on sworn testimony from a trial in Crown Court) that a crime has been committed, is the CPS not obliged to consider whether the potentiality of a crime and the evidence of it justify an investigation?

When Archer lied it was a massive risk. He must have realised this himself at a later date. But some people who have a great deal of conceit think everyone else is stupid and of no account. I've not done many big jobs in my police career but in some of those that I have the stupidity of the offender, some of them intelligent people, has stunned me. It's all down to conceit.

But even so, if Mosley had colluded with this woman, she would have a massive hold over him. It would only be a matter of time before the bubble burst. Someone who will lie for you will lie against you. Would he be that stupid?

I went as the muscle with a DI to arrest a chap for an absolute massive fraud. We went into the restaurant of a posh hotel and the DI told him of the evidence we had against him. The odd thing was that he was aware of our enquiry and still carried on as normal. When I searched him I found incriminating documents on him. He was having a meal with his lawyer and the DI joked that we would use him as a witness if the chap suggested we had planted it.

The bloke went down but even so he evidently didn't seem to realise it. Very odd.

I would suggest that if Mosley did indeed say that he enjoys people cricising him then he's a long way down the road to Arhcer levels of conceit. Very risky.

It's no surprise that those sentiments would be expressed by an S&M freak.

The idea behind the CPS was to separate the enquiry from the prosecution, keeping the CPS independant. I accept that the intent has not been fulfilled but I'm under the impression that the CPS cannot instigate an offence, even one that occurred in court. It can supply information to the police.

The norm is for the judge to be approached in such a case. I've no idea why and what goes on in these convesations is not something I've been privvy to. When I was crown court liaison i had to arrange a couple but was excluded.

A judge can instigate an enquiry by the police. If a judge said do it, we'd do it.

So my understanding is that in the initial stages all the CPS can do is submit information. What the police do with it is down to them solely. However, the CPS has tremendous influence. I feel sure they wouldn't use it improperly.

Does that mean Max has been getting off on some of my writings about him, oh I feel all dirtyvomit
On a positive note I guess I can invoice him as he is used to paying for his pleasure.

On a more serious note, Max is a Lawyer (is he registered as such in the UK?) It may be worth talking to Law Society about his curious activities, both in Law and "private". It may not hold much sway with the FIA but would nice to see him struck off, er so to speak.

I suspect there will be reasons why these "indiscretions" haven't been taken further - either lack of evidence or lack of willingness for others to have the details exposed...

The fact that there doesn't appear to be one is very telling don't you think?

a certain private establishment in Euston with 'private facilities'. The clientele is generally speaking, 'up-market' compared to 'similar' establishments in town...

Ah, thanks.

I wonder if Spanky has had the name changed to "Exposed"?

So if such a place exists, from what I understand it would not be legal, and therefore those involved in running it would be breaking the law. As there has been some exposure about this, shouldn't there be an investigation or is there more perversion of justice going on?

As far as the management may be aware, a private venue booking is taken in good faith from a private entity/individual. No addmision fee/participation money or otherwise changes hands between the promoter and its guests/customers on the premises. All fiscal reconcilliations are dealt with elsewhere and at another time. To all extents, it is a private party. What's there to investigate? As for "is there more perversion of justice going on?", you only have to consider the 'guest list' of these events to realise that if that were indeed the case, nothing tangible would come of it. It is where the overworld meets the underworld that the seeing and the seen collide...

Perhaps so, although one of the organisers appeared to state in sworn court testimony that the purpose of these affairs was for 30 punters to pay to shag 10 women, who themselves are unlikely to have been donating their service FOC for a charitable purpose.
If Mosley's witness's allegations were false, then she would have been PCJ in perjuring herself.
