Her face is so odd, and her facial expressions. Quite plastic, like something off Thunderbirds or Team America. She makes all sorts of expressions of understanding, experience, wisdom, agreement. She nods at imaginary people in the audience. Then when she gets the chance, she speaks very quickly about all sorts of random stuff that she thinks is an 'argument'. She's loathsome.

Think that's 'New Labour Media Training'. The other habit that's arisen since 1997 is putting the interviewer's christian name into sentences for that cuddly, 1-2-1 feeling. 
The problem with Hazel Blears is it doesn't matter how bad an MP she is, the people of Salford are unlikely to vote for the Conservative party come election time because so many of the people are key Labour voters - single mums, unemployed, immigrants etc. She surely has one of the safest seats in the Commons?
