Hi folks.

My lighter has never worked, and that hasn't particularly bothered me, but I'd like to plug my satnav/phone into it, and could do with some power.

As I'm electrically dyslexic, any suggestions please. smile

Is there a fuse ?

Most likely a fuse. Every time I've had a phone kit put in my cars the dumb fitter has blown the lighter fuse installing the kit and I've had to change it. Easily fixed!

If not the fuse check behind the dash panel. On my old 400 the wire kept pulling off the lighter housing.

I keep my Optimate connected to mine.

Many thanks guys ! thumbup

The horn does work, so I'll have a root under the dash.

Maybe the lighter itself is caput? have you tried the satnav?

Yes. smile
Seems there is no power to the actual socket.

I'll have a go once I've used up all my petrol money in tomorrow's sunshine.hehe ...driving

Also the headlight bulb to try and change. Dip beam on n/side is off. frown

This time I'll jack her up and remove the front wheel so I can access the critter properly.
