Wifey asks me what I want for Christmas.

1) My Grandad's watch fixing. She says she'll get me a new one. ER NO.
2) A mk2 cavalier. She says NO. I say well that's actually what I want. She says over her dead body. Look I'll give you the phone numbers of three people who will help you find the right one. No ? Appartently NO.
3) My grans musical table repairing. again No.
4) A car stereo (There's one in the Argos cat with USB connection I fancy) and an aerial. Again NO.

She says What about a sat nav. I say No, No, Please please please please no. I'm am now sure that's what I'll unwrapping come 25th December.

Why bother asking me ?

Try asking for a bacon sarnie, a mug of tea and a suck job. That's enough to make anyone happy.

I like the fact that two of your choices involve fixing two perfectly servicable (but currently inoperable) possesions you already have [iand/i] attach (I assume) sentimental value to.

I think you'd agree that sometimes, you can feel you've got enough 'stuff', and so much 'new' stuff is bullst right?

To get to the point, I know what you mean, why ask...

Change the tea for fresh ground espresso and you have a normal weekend morning when we're at home. I love my g/f cloud9

in that order? Surely you'd want the sarnie post coitus? Mind you if you wrapped a cold one around the old sawsedge then it'll be a good case of an early pigs in the blanket. It only hurts when the teeth draw blood. Trust me on this.

Yup, and until recently I felt for him, however, the one that really sticks in my mind is him LOLing at his new neighbours who are in negative equity. At which point the milk of human kindness ran a bit dry.

Have you never had warm tea blowie? Or even better, warm tea and ice cream blowie. Done properly, the effects can be truly mindblowing.

You work and she doesn't. Ergo, you have the money to do whatever you like with. Buy the Cav yourself and forge her name on a gift tag.

Perhaps I won't make a very good husband...
