Hi,
first off i know nothing about these cars but i love them. I have spotted a yellow one going through a classic car auction but the interior does not look right.... any ideas?
has it been crucified? should it be wood? check out that Knight rider steering wheel...
also could you point me in the direction of a website that could tell me more about the life of these cars. number produced etc etc....

If you are serious about buying one, get a copy of The TVR Wedges by Steve Heath ISBN 0953033538. It contains excellent advice prior to purchase and is a must post-purchase. Check out: www.tvrcc.com/acatalog/TVRCC_Catalogue_Road_tests__Histories__Collectors_Guides_34.html

My opinion is that it was originally a 390SE - seems to have the slightly more pointy front valance, the air splitter under the rear, the air vents in the bonnet, the slightly flared side skirts etc. No shame in that, but to badge it as an SEAC and try to pass it off as one is really pathetic. People should know better. Would have a decent hpi check done if you was still interested Scooby.

This car was recently on Autotrader web site, there ws a thread a few weeks back. As the owner of 420 SEAC #14 (which is now Yellow) I can confirm the piccies are not of a genuine SEAC body. Pehaps it has been rebodied due to a smack and the chassis and engine are genuine a) get the numbers and talk to the club model registrar and b) have a look under the fron and see if the chassis has the adjustable wishbones, arb's and shocks.springs.
Steve - nice piccies - your just showing off now - but we'll let you off as it's a nice motor.

Think the clue is in the second picture. Check out the advice under the front end of the car!
