I wish they'd stop spraying this st all over the house, it smells worse than any smell. Do they all do it?

And in their cars, so you choke when you get in, them smelly things hanging from the mirror, the dash, around the air vents etc. I guess they are so paranoid about 'feminine odors' that they mask the holy out of them.

That's because the men are the bad things in the air.

Our daily hack does not smell so good without air freshner (no leather)
Wouldn't dream of putting one in lotus, far too homely for a metal cart hehe

Air freshener in the smallest room is totally pointless IMHO. There's only one thing that smells worse than st, and that's st and air freshener.

What about the ones that bath in perfume that you can smell from the other side of the street?

I wish what you said was true, because then I wouldn't be able to smell air "fresheners". I agree with the OP, they smell worse than any "smell"... the cure is worse than the disease. A toilet that smells of st may be rank, but a toilet that smells of a mixture of st and that sickly effluvium that air "fresheners" emit is utterly nauseating.

The plug-in ones are even worse because the smell is both stronger and is of the kind that strips the lining out of your nostrils. They are like paint fumes, they make me feel ill. I wouldn't leave the room because someone had farted, but I would, and have, left the room because I could no longer stand the plug-in air freshener.

At least the plug-in ones, being electrical devices, are easy to sabotage biggrin

...And sabotaging them is a perfect demonstration that their attraction is purely a matter of placebo effect. I went to visit my parents and my mum had one in the sitting room which made the sitting room uninhabitable, so I simply switched it off. The socket was tucked away in the corner so you couldn't see it had been switched off, and my mum simply didn't notice I'd done it. I bloody did though, it didn't stink in there any more, and I think my dad appreciated my action too biggrin

Edited because I forgot what forum I was on...

Air fresheners are not acceptable anywhere.
