If it's a Lotus 2+2, if it was to be built, would it be the new Excel?

Is there really a need for a vehicle for "performance driving training in China. "

Somebody's nicked the front wing... (or is that the Lotus influence - from the 7?)

flight of fancy, and good for him for making a mechanically inept design presentable to an engineering-based group like lotus. That's a pretty hefty overhang, AND its a 2+2 with a mid-engine layout? with what proportions I can see, it's gotta be a gangly looking concept.

Why are concept designs drawn in presentation all out of proportion nowadays, with exaggerated overhangs and bulgin wheels that obscure the rest of the car? What happened to top, side, front, rear and 3/4 projection? Why does everyone draw them from the perspective of someone just about to be run over?

Its not the only "lotus" concept from Coventry students:
cardesignnews.com said:

Andy Entwhistle’s design was for a 2+2 Lotus, which could be used by former Elise owners once they start a family. The styling showed influences from other transport areas such as aircraft and motorcycles and aimed to balance the fundamental Lotus lightweight and athletic values with increased functionality. Transparent panels running down through the bodysides to the front wheelarch allow younger passengers a good view out.

Why, exactly, have those wheels got alloy bits on the other side of the tires?
Looks a bit like an... origami mess.

Lotus should be concentrating on the replacement Esprit (actually, that's probably what they're doing - it's not like these concepts are official)

Bring back the M250!

Class as always DM!

It's shite - would you want your car styled by a man who chose those glasses?

Wow - you can build an M250 model at home!
