For those who don't spend their time on Pistonheads, this could well be a good day. I've not been on one of these runs before but I'm planning on joining them.
I know there are quite a few of us HSV/ Holden/ Vauxhall owners in the area so hopefully we can increase the proportion of V8 muscle!
30 cars so far, from an 80's Merc 190 2.3-16, various TVRs, to Audis, a Noble, a Ferrari, a couple of M BMW's, etc. I think the route runs from somewhere near M3 J3 to the Portsmouth coast for late breakfast.
Sometimes new things are worth a try...

Looking forward to this and surprised there hasn't been any takers apart from Fluff, given the large amount of Ro's in the area.
Separately, Im struggling with the Tom Tom file. I have saved it into the itn folder on my TT one, but the tomtom says there are no itinerary files on the card when I try to load it? Anyone tried this before???

Would have considered this but it's the Ace on Saturday and this is further up my priority list for the weekend.

BTW Tom Tom's R crap. Garmin far superior IMHO.

I'm beginning to realise that...

Had my 1st TT (900 model) nicked and it needed resetting every other day - just jammed up. (same as a ctrl alt del issue on a pc) Also needed to delete part of the programming - loads of forums on this - to get it working properly.
2nd one TT Go is better but no functionality. again had to mess with the program from new.
Not quite as "out of the box" as they make out......

I had tom tom before and could never get it to work properly so ditched it. I borrowed my mates a few weeks ago and it got me lost in the middle of Coventry.

Went down to Halfrauds and bought a widescreen Garmin with Uk and European maps which was on offer at £139. It took me to Germany and back faultlessly and my mate came over from New Zealand and borrowed my car with it for a week and he said it made all the difference to his holiday. He kept calling it a Navsat though, probably coz he's from Down Under.
