Ferrari California "World Premiere" at factory last week
Discussion
Yes, I know it's been shown already at Pebble Beach and at Salon Prive at the Hurlingham Club, but this event was immense!
1000 people including all the main Ferrari dignitaries: Luca di Montezemolo, Kimi, Felipe and Schumacher.

Nice report David - have you thought of taking it up professionally?
With heavy heart I agree with your conclusion re colour. The car looks MUCH better in pretty much ANY colour other than red. As you know, being fairly new to Fezza ownership, I have a thing about them having to be RED - perhaps the California will force me away from this rather 'obvious' colour choice! I know you'll approve.........

Hmm. Well they had a Grigio Silverstone one (the colour my F430 Spider is in), dark non-metallic blue (horrible), black (boring), and a few shades of red, but the stand out colour for that shape is the light metallic blue (Azzuro California) that I featured in my photos (not being at all influenced by that stunning senorina standing by it).
Those 20" spider wheels look infinitely better than the two 19" options and the car looks much better proportioned roof up than down, which is fine because that's the configuration us Brits will use it in for 99% of the year!
I am not a huge fan of Crema interiors (light magnolia) although my 456GT has one, but that would suit Azzuro California the best IMO.
I've had 5 Ferraris so far and none have been red and I'll probably never buy one in red.
