My MX5 needs transporting from Leamington to Kenilworth.

If anyone can help I'd be exceedingly grateful

No longer required, as putting this through the Insurance and they are collecting from Mazda.

Fingers crossed they don't write the car off as uneconomical to repair.

Wow, thats a turn up....
I think we will see a lot of cars go this way when the electronics expire..

Sad, but the price we will all pay for technology and performance....

Lets hope that they will repair the car, as I know you love it!!!

Indeed, I really didn't think that they would cover it - but they do

As Mazda have agreed that they would fit a re-con'd ECU, am going to get a quote from them to fix it, to keep in my back pocket to argue with the Insurance if they try to write it off

Ali always keep your powde dry with the insurance companies!!!
Have had lots of dealings with them, as you can imagine..

We haven't claimed yet, they are sending assessors out to see how she is. The report from Mazda will help there I hope.

Once they have given their report, it is up to me whether I start a claim, or forget it. I've been assured that this IS the case, and that the assessors verdict will not affect my policy in any way, unless I claim.

And just in case something goes wrong there, we have spoken to the Dog that says YES 3 times today to check details, and their calls are recorded

BUT if anyone knows of any difficulties, please shout quick!!
