Would it be possible to add a new option to "Formatting help"?
People often link images to larger versions (due to the resizing on ph) and have to tweak the following:
and replace the "text" with the img tag (without the spaces):
[ i m g ] [ / i m g ]
to look like [ u r l ] [ i m g ] [ / i m g ] | u r l [ / u r l ] (again, without spaces, code tag doesn't work properly for this)
I know it's pretty easy to do manually, but would save a lot of time!

Yeah, but it squishes the large image. Using the way on my post allows you to select a smaller image, form flickr say, and link it to a larger version (without any 750px squishing).Like this for example, clicky to see what I mean
