I'm currently looking at running a karting event at Milton Keynes on November 29th. It started out as an event on another forum but as I was only able to get half the drivers I needed (20) on there I thought I'd ask on PH too. Currently I also have two pro drivers that have confirmed, Cassey (KC) Watson, who has been racing Ginettas this season. She is looking to do Formula Palmer Audi next season. The other is Anna Walewska who currently drives in Britcar and is also an ex karter. I do however also have karters of all abilities including some that have never even sat in one before, so there will be someone for everyone to race against! If I get more than 3 pro drivers I will supply a trophy for the first non pro driver home. There may also be a prize for last place. I have a maximum of 30 places with 10 already definately gone and a further 12 people interested so if you want to race contact me ASAP as it will be first come first served.

The cost is £70 per driver which is what Daytona are charging me. I need to get this booked within the next week or so to avoid losing the date so if you are interested you need to get in contact soon.

Contact me through the email function to get my address to send a cheque or for any other info you need. I thought cheque would be the best way to pay as I won't cash them until its booked and that way if I have to cancel I can simply post your cheque back to you. Other payment methods can be arranged if needed.

How much track time do you get for £70? What's the event format?

OOPS I knew I'd end up missing something off the post! boxedin

It's a 40 minute race with 10 minutes practice Qualifying time. The Daytona 40 format from their website.

It's whatever the new karts they have just bought are, If I remember correctly the 125cc models. It probably will be really cold, but I'm sure we'll warm up after a few laps. smile
