350i series 2 number plate light inards ...?

Hi Guys

Does anyone know the 'doner' for the series 2 number plate light? Its a piece of clear plastic with 2 securing screws, the plate also holds the the bulb holder which is basically 2 pieces of copper with the bulb held in the middle.
Mine has totally shattered and beyond repair. Before I bodge something else I wondered if anyone knows the donor car for these or has one lying around for a few beer token?

Looking at the lamp It looks remarkably similar to the one used on the Land Rover Discovery!!!!

mine are past there best, i have got some off a mondeo, look very similar, but have not tried fitting them yet.
