God he is so boring yet annoying. You just don't learn anything - he's 1% interesting when compared to Michael Palin. frown

Palin is the anti-christ though. Atleast Boorman is a petrolhead!

Who is he? I mean, where did he come from?
I missed the first episode of Long Way Round (or was it down?) and wasn't so pleased with that to go back and fill myself in.

He was Tomme in The Emerald Forest. Other than that I don't know what else he's done without IMDBing him.

And the young Mordred in Excalibur (which his father directed). Brilliant film.

At least Palin puts a dry Pythonesque veneer on the amusing/intriguing bits and turned the ordinary in to the entertaining.
Charlie just states the bleedin' obvious all the time, then pulls a stoopid face or says "Cool" or tells us "This is what I always dreamed of as a boy".
But yeah, fair play to him for getting Beeb to pay his way.
Can't stand the way the personality vacuum otherwise known as Russ the producer is trying to replace Ewan and thus become a star in his own right.

He comes accross as being a bit thick. Wow look at that little river running through the little village ... yes thats the toilet.

Wow that's amazingly cool how the man buys waste paper for 20 and sells it for 30 making 50 percent profit.

Wow ... how incorrect you are.
